Game Bakers, the studio behind boss rush game Furi, has revealed the first gameplay of their next game, which will see the studio attempt a story-based RPG called Haven.

Playing as characters Yu and Kay, they're a pair of lovers who have been exiled to a mysterious planet called Source that they must explore and start their life on. It's being described as a relaxing experience with light JRPG combat elements. More interestingly, though it's a solo game at Haven's core, a second player can co-operatively join in at any time to control whichever character you're not currently playing as.

This blog post from studio founder Emeric Thoa describes the game as 'Journey meets Persona' and also cites Catherine and Nier Automata as its referenes will also feature an original soundtrack from French musician Danger. There's a trailer, which we've embedded below so you can see the game in action.

Haven is set to release on PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch sometime in 2020.
