According to IGN, the final version of the Wii Internet Channel (the Opera web browser) will be released in April.

The trial version has been available for Wii users since December and, just like this version , the full browser will be available for free, at least initially – from June it will cost 500 Wii Points.

The full version will feature a host of enhancements over the trial, including improved zooming and scrolling, quicker start-up times, quicker access to favourites, buttons for instant insertion of common letters such as ‘www’ and ‘.com’, an ability to erase the toolbar and more.

We’ll be sure to remind readers as soon as the full browser is available.
