The demo is said to be the same as that which has already appeared on cover mounted demo discs. This means you get to chose from two selectable hot rods with which you can begin the destruction. Even though you will only get a small segment of the full game to play with, you’ll still be able to try out your hot rod’s boost, destroy everything in sight, and use the unwreck feature.

If the demo is the same as that which has already appeared on demo discs then it could leave some gamers feeling rather disappointed with the whole experience. After the release of the magazine demo, forums filled with reports of poor frame rates and many gamers felt somewhat underwhelmed by the whole experience. The demo should not be used to judge the quality of the final product, but for many people it will decide if they buy the game or not.
