At a modest 646MB, the long awaited Full Auto demo has finally made it to the Xbox 360 Marketplace, having been originally planned to appear late last year. The disappointing news is that some of you may have already played the demo, as it appears to be the same as the demo already available via cover-mounted demo discs. Some rather unimpressive frame rate issues are still present and given the delay the demo has had in coming to the Marketplace, it begs the question – why didn’t Sega release a demo from a more final build of the game?

Well, at least it gives people the chance to play the demo for free without having to buy a magazine for the privilege. In the demo you get to pick from two different cars before taking to the road to experience the high speed destructive action. If you get into trouble, don’t worry about it; you can use the unwreck feature to rewind time and try again.

Full Auto is scheduled for release in February only on Xbox 360.
