Friday The 13th: The Game could just be the most brilliant idea for a game ever, but we won’t know how it turns out until later this year.

Gun Media has, however, released a couple of new videos, the first of which offers a gameplay teaser for Hide and Seek. The video features gameplay captured from the counsellor perspective, meaning there’s no HUD. In order to survive players must hide from Jason, taking refuge in various locations across Crystal Lake.

Also released is a video revealing the game’s second playable map, Higgins Haven, which featured in Part 3. Keep watching until the end for a rather brutal kill scene.

Higgins Haven was originally intended as a Kickstarter Stretch Goal, but even though this target wasn’t reached the dev team has decided to include it anyway.

Friday The 13th: The Game is currently targeting an October release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
