A new update for Friday the 13th: The Game has seen a reduction in pocket knives and other sharp objects, the game’s developer has confirmed in a rather humorous forum post.

As a result, regular players of the counsellor kill-’em-up will discover that there’s now far less pocket knives available at the camp, though ‘special visitors’ can still come packing with their own personal knife.

In addition, while other pointy objects can still be found at the camp, they are now only available in limited numbers. The team specifically mentions tools such as machetes and wrenches as the main offenders.

Finally, messy campers have apparently been leaving copious amounts of medical supplies lying about the place, notably med sprays, so they’ve also been reduced in numbers.

Friday the 13th: The game is available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One as both a digital download and retail copy.
