EA Sports has confirmed it will be rolling out a free World Cup update for FIFA 18 next month for PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One.

Players will be able to have a kickabout from the group stages all the way up to Moscow's final, while soaking up a bunch of officially-licensed content including badges, kit, stadiums, teams, plus of course the official match ball and trophy. Online friendlies and online tournament modes are also up for grabs, and you can make your own customised World Cup using all available national teams.

We're also promised all 12 stadiums from Russia in the World Cup update, plus a host of other atmospheric touches including team banners and high-resolution crowds to help add an air of authenticity to the proceedings.

The FIFA 18 World Cup update will be putting one in the back of the net on May 29 for consoles and June 6 for mobile. Check out a trailer below.
