MCV reports that Activision is to support the launch of Guitar Hero World Tour with an impressive pre-order campaign. Gamers who pre-order the ”super bundle’ – game, guitar, drum kit and microphone – will receive a free Guitar Hero bass guitar.
The ‘super bundle’ is available for around £150 at most online stores, while the bass guitar would usually set gamers back a further £50.
“This programme signals our enormous commitment to Guitar Hero World Tour,” said David Tyler, Activision’s marketing director for the UK and Ireland. “Consumers who pre-order the Guitar Hero World Tour ‘super bundle’ from any retailer – either online, or in-store – will bag a bonus bass guitar.”
Guitar Hero World Tour is scheduled for release later this autumn for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PS2.
