Microsoft has issued download codes to Xbox One players who purchased a Day One digital copy of Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse or Dead Rising 3, rectifying a mistake that saw early adopters left without the bonus Day One Edition content.

In an email sent to Forza 5 players affected by the issue, Microsoft acknowledged that users who “purchased the Forza Motorsport 5 Digital Edition from the Xbox Store between November 22, 2013 and December 6, 2013… were supposed to receive the ‘Forza Motorsport 5 Day One Car Pack’ as communicated and intended.

“There was an oversight in our technical execution, so now we are making it right.”

Players who redeemed the Forza Motorsport 5 code included with their Day One Edition console are also eligible to receive the content.

WPCentral reports that the same is true for Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome, too, with codes dispatched to those affected.

Each game’s Day One Edition content includes a variety of exclusive DLC, including new cars for Forza, additional outfits and weapons for Dead Rising 3, and a bonus co-op multiplayer map for Ryse.
