“Turn 10’s systems architect Chris Tector checked into the latest build some magic code that now renders the game at 60 frames-per-second with most of the post-processing special effects and car HUD turned on,” reads an update on the the official Forza Motorsport website.
The update also notes that the game’s physics engine “is now running at an even higher refresh rate than the previous Forza.” However, it’s still too early to nail down the game’s final graphical features – Turn 10 admitting that things may need “to be changed/tweaked in order to maintain 60 fps.“
The game is now expected to ship no later than June 2007.
