The first screenshots of Forza Horizon 2 have been released by Microsoft following yesterday’s official reveal.
The screenshots, which are being hosted by IGN (and spotted by NeoGAF), offer a first look at what we assume is the Xbox One version, showing off the game’s new weather effects and a selection of the 100+ cars.
Looks gorgeous, doesn’t it? And if the actual game ends up looking like this, it could well give PS4’s DriveClub a run for its money.
Forza Horizon 2 was announced yesterday for release on Xbox One and Xbox 360 this autumn. The Xbox One version is being developed by original Horizon creators Playground Games and built on the Forza Motorsport 5 engine. The Xbox 360 version, meanwhile, is being developed by Sumo Digital on the original Horizon engine.
More info is expected later today.
