Fortnitemares 2023 is just around the corner. This will be one of the most exciting Fortnite events, and many players look forward to it. Celebrating Halloween is fun in both real life and the game, which is why Epic Games adds a lot of new content each October.

This year’s event will begin with the v26.30 update. It will be the last event in Chapter 4 – Season 4, and likely the second-to-last event in 2023, with Winterfest being the other one. Fortunately, the upcoming Halloween event will bring many new things to the game, including free rewards.

Here’s everything we know about it so far.

Fortnitemares 2023 will begin on October 10

Epic Games already confirmed the release date of Fortnitemares 2023. The Halloween event will begin on Tuesday, October 10, once the v26.30 update drops. In addition to revealing the start date, Epic also teased the return of zombies and a moon eclipse.

When it comes to gameplay items, here’s what we can expect to either return or come during the event:

  • Pumpkin Launcher
  • Witch Broom
  • Kado Thorne’s Katana
  • Vampire Stake Shotgun

Kado Thorne’s Katana will likely be a new version of the Kinetic Blade. Fortnite leakers have also discovered a modified version of the Mythic Witch Broom, as well as a Reality Augment that decreases its cooldown. Finally, the new shotgun will have a siphon effect and will arrive in multiple rarities, including Mythic.

Many players are interested in Fortnitemares 2023 cosmetic items. According to leakers, Epic Games is working on a new version of Fishstick and Love Ranger. However, no skins have been leaked so far.

Last year, Epic added Ash Williams from the Evil Dead franchise to Fortnite. Due to this, many players are hoping that more collaborations will be released during the event. There are many amazing Halloween skins Epic Games could add, including Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Dead by Daylight characters.
