A massive new Fortnite leak has just surfaced, and it reveals that one of the most famous virtual pop stars is coming to the game for the third time. It looks like Hatsune Miku will be joining the battle royale just in time for the holidays, bringing a festive new look to the island. The virtual artist already has two skins in the game, but the next one will likely be the best.
The leak suggests that the character will receive a special Winterfest skin in Fortnite, making her a perfect fit for the upcoming seasonal event. On top of this, there is a decent chance that the skin will be free.
Hatsune Miku to come to the Winterfest event in Fortnite
Winterfest is an annual winter event in Fortnite, and Epic Games usually releases it in mid-December. While the release date of the next event hasn’t been leaked or revealed yet, we expect more information within a week or two.
Shiina, one of the most reputable Fortnite leakers, claims that a winter version of Hatsune Miku will come with the upcoming event. The artist was featured in Season 7 of Fortnite Festival, the game’s music mode, and has been very popular since then. Due to this, adding another skin of hers is certainly the right choice for Epic.
The leaker hasn’t shared any other details, such as the design of the skin or its other cosmetics. However, it’s almost certain that the popular character will receive a pickaxe and a back bling, and we also expect at least one new emote.
Each year, Fortnite releases free skins for Winterfest, and Hatsune Miku could be one of them in 2026. After all, the character is very popular, and Epic is no stranger to giving away free collaboration skins.
