Epic Games is ready to release another Fortnite update. The OG Season has been a huge success so far, and adding new content will only improve it. As the game developer previously announced, the current season will contain multiple Chapter 1 seasons that will change approximately every week.
We are currently in Season 5, with Season 6 being just around the corner. The new update will come on Thursday and bring a lot of new items, as well as a big change to the in-game island. This article will list all the big changes that will come with the update, and we’ll also show the release time.
The new Fortnite update will bring the floating island back
The floating island debuted in Fortnite Chapter 1 – Season 6. It was created as a result of the Cube’s interaction with Loot Lake and will return today. The island will be located in the center of the map and will likely stay there until the end of the OG Season.
In addition to this, the Fortnite update will bring back many amazing items and vehicles. Here are the items that will return, according to Epic Games:
- Double Barrel Shotgun
- Clingers
- Six Shooter
- Chiller Trap
- Port-A-Fortress
- Mounted Turret
- Quadcrasher
- Driftboard
According to leakers, we may also get a few more items, including Shockwave Grenades, Dynamite, and the Heavy Assault Rifle.
Epic Games did not reveal when exactly the next Fortnite update will come. However, it will be a hotfix, and considering that most hotfixes come at 9 AM Eastern Time, we expect the next one to follow suit.
