Epic Games just released another hotfix update for Fortnite. This time, the game developer reduced the effectiveness of the Queen boss. In other words, the boss is now much easier to eliminate, and this change affects every playlist, from Solos to Squads. The change is quite big, as the boss has been nerfed up to 25%.

In this article, we will take a detailed look at the latest balance change in Fortnite. This change arrived just a day after Epic Games released several weapon nerfs and shifted the meta in Season 4.

The Queen boss is no longer as powerful after the latest Fortnite update

On Tuesday night, Epic Games released another balance change. After modifying the stats of several items on Monday, the game developer decided to adjust the Queen boss. Due to this, the boss is now easier to eliminate, as its hit points have been drastically reduced. The nerf is most significant in the Solos playlist, where the boss was nerfed by 25%, while the nerf reduced the NPC’s HP by approximately 9% in Squads.

Let’s take a look at how much the Fortnite NPC was nerfed with the latest update:

Considering that the first week of the new season has already brought many balance changes, we can expect more of them in the future. The next major update is scheduled to come out on Tuesday, August 26.

While waiting for the next update and more content, make sure to unlock all the free skins in Fortnite. Season 4 has five skins you can unlock for free, although some of them will expire soon.
