Epic Games has confirmed that Fortnite update 4.4 is now available to download, and its main highlight is the addition of Stink Bombs.

This item basically functions like a smoke grenade, albeit one that damages anyone that gets caught in the stinky mist. If you've got a thermal assault rifle, you can spot people caught up in the mist, so keep that in mind.

Also up for grabs is a new 8-bit demo skin, which features a retro controller cap and pixelated back bling.

Fortnite Battle Royale has also added the Final Fight, a limited-time mode that sees teams of 20 slugging it out similar to standard battle royale. However, the Storm circles will now stop after the third circle instead of closing all the way.

There's also a bunch of new fixes in place, so be sure to have a gander at the full patch notes.

Fortnite recently continued its quest for world domination with the addition of a Switch version of the last-man-standing shooter. Unsurprisingly, it's already been downloaded a few million times.
