Superman has been a big part of this Fortnite season. The DC superhero is a bonus skin in the Battle Pass, and he’s also included in the gameplay. Players who are lucky can grab his powers and unleash them over their enemies on the way to a Victory Royale. The best part? Superman’s ability now spawns more frequently than before.
Becoming Superman in Fortnite is quite challenging, as his ability is limited to only one player in a lobby. Due to this, many players haven’t had a chance to experience this amazing part of the season. Fortunately, Epic Games just made a big change, allowing more players to turn into the Man of Steel.
Epic Games just buffed the spawn rate of Superman in Fortnite
When Epic released Superman’s ability in Fortnite, its spawn rate was 100%. However, it was reduced to 50% shortly after, which is why many players haven’t been able to obtain it. Fortunately, this is no longer the case. Over the weekend, the game developer increased the spawn chance of the ability to 100%, making it spawn in every single game.
“For this weekend, the Superman’s Call crystal will now spawn in every Battle Royale match,” Fortnite posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday night. At the moment, it’s unknown when exactly the spawn rate will go back to 50%, but it will likely happen on Monday at 9 AM Eastern Time.
Playing as Superman is even more fun after the latest update. Earlier this week, Fortnite buffed the ability, making it last longer and deal significantly more damage. In addition, Clark Kent now has approximately 33% more HP, which has drastically prolonged his durability on the battlefield.
Superman’s ability will stay in the game until the end of Chapter 6 – Season 3 on August 7.
