Superman has played a big role in this Fortnite season. The DC hero is not featured in the Battle Pass as a bonus skin, but he’s also part of the gameplay. Clark Kent’s second appearance in Fortnite comes with a Mythic ability, which allows him to fly, laser his enemies, and destroy structures. That ability was buffed, making the hero even more powerful.

Superman received a massive buff in Fortnite
Superman’s Mythic ability was released on Friday, July 11. It has a 50% spawn chance in every match, and only one player can pick it up. This player then turns into the superhero, gaining access to several unique abilities that last for a limited time.
The latest Fortnite update buffed Superman’s abilities and made him more durable in combat. The table below shows all the changes that went live:

Considering that Epic Games buffed Superman just a few days after his release in Fortnite, we can expect more balance changes in the future. One of the main complaints that the community had was about the Mythic power being too weak. However, this update should fix it.
Superman will likely stay in the game until the end of the season, which is scheduled for August 7. Once Season 4 comes out, Epic will remove the Mythic ability from Fortnite.
