Fortnite update removes fan-favorite item; players are disappointed

The latest Fortnite update has brought a lot of new content. The v26.10 update is the first major update of Chapter 4 – Season 4. Due to this, it’s no surprise that Epic Games added many new things with it. Unfortunately, the community isn’t a big fan of all the new changes.

The update, which came out on Tuesday morning, brought the second My Hero Academia collaboration. Epic also added Super Styles for Battle Pass skins with it, along with several gameplay changes.

While many Fortnite players are aware that the game keeps constantly changing, they are not too happy with the vaulting of Slap Juice.

Slap Juice is no longer available in Fortnite

Slap Juice is a consumable item that was first added to Fortnite with Chapter 4 – Season 1. The item replaced Slurp Juice, and many players enjoyed it because it was possible to consume it while moving. On top of health, the item also provided infinite energy for a brief period.

The item was vaulted with the latest Fortnite update, which is why many players are disappointed. Epic Games replaced it with the Pizza Party item, which was teased in the trailer for the new season. Considering that Fortnite Battle Royale’s sixth birthday is just around the corner, adding this item makes a lot of sense.

While the Fortnite community is disappointed with the latest change, it’s important to note that Pizza Party was buffed. It now heals 5 HP and 30 Shield per slice. In addition, the pizza item can now heal players up to 100 HP and Shield, which makes it much better than before.

Slap Splash is still available in Fortnite and is much better than Slap Juice. While the juice item can only heal one person at a time, Slap Splash can be used for healing an entire squad and giving every player infinite stamina.
