Interestingly, the X user has a similar name to FortniteStatus, which is the official account of Epic Games used for important Fortnite announcements. Due to this, many players likely think that the post came from the game developer and that the next Battle Pass will be free.
Unfortunately for players, the tweet is likely fake. Epic Games hasn’t revealed anything regarding the price of the Season 5 Battle Pass.
