Fortnite is working on a new feature that will make the game super cute! Epic Games has been developing companion pets for a few months now. These new pets will be faithful companions, following you around and playing mini games. Recent leaks show a couple of new pets Epic is working on, and all of them look absolutely adorable!
It appears that the first batch will have dogs, a turtle on the skateboard, and a Mecha Team Leader pet. Images of these pets have been leaked, and we can’t wait for them to come out! With Fortnite Chapter 7 coming in a few months, there is a good chance that Epic will release this feature with it.
Three Fortnite companion pets have been leaked
Just hours after Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 4 went live, leakers shared interesting details regarding companion pets. These pets have been in development for at least a couple of months, and many players hoped they’d arrive with Season 4. Since that’s not the case, they might be the next big feature that will come out with a new chapter.
At the moment, three different companion pets have been leaked, and you can see them below.
Previously, Fortnite leakers shared that players will be able to feed, pet, and brush companions, as well as play mini games with them. On top of this, each companion will be named by a player, and many existing pets will be ported as companions.
At the moment, no one knows when the new feature will come out. However, Chapter 7 is scheduled to come out in early December, making this a potential release date. With the new chapter being a few months away, we will likely get more details about companion pets soon, maybe even an official reveal by Epic Games.
