The Fortnite OG Season has brought back a lot of old things. While the old map is the most exciting aspect of it, Epic Games also added back some older weapons, features, and more. However, despite the season getting mostly positive feedback, players are not too happy about one thing.

Making the entire community happy is an impossible task. However, Epic has done a great job with the new season, and most players love it. Unfortunately, the season ends in early December and will be the shortest season in Fortnite history.

Due to the duration of the season, it’s unlikely that Epic Games will do something about this complaint.

This Fortnite OG feature should be changed, according to the players

Epic Games tried to make the current Fortnite season as similar to the early days of the game as possible. For the most part, the game developer was successful. However, some newer mechanics, such as mantling and tactical sprinting, stayed in the game.

To bring back the OG vibes, Epic also changed Fortnite’s Item Shop. Instead of having multiple tabs and more than 50 cosmetics, the game creator decided to make the shop simple, just like it was in the first few seasons of Chapter 1.

Visually, this is an amazing change. The Item Shop looks simple and is very easy to navigate. Unfortunately, this has been one of the main complaints from the Fortnite community. Cosmetics rotate every 24 hours, and only eight of them are available in the rotation.

Considering we are less than three weeks away from the end of the Fortnite OG Season, it’s unlikely that Epic will do something about the shop. However, this is likely an experiment, and the development team might be testing the effectiveness of a smaller Item Shop.

With Fortnite Chapter 5 around the corner, we expect Epic Games to revert the shop and add more cosmetics to it.
