The next Fortnite season will bring a new collaboration, as well as a new map. This time, instead of partially changing the island, Epic Games will release a completely new map. It will be based on the upcoming collaboration, the Simpsons, and will feature Springfield, the primary setting of the animated sitcom.
The latest leak not only hinted at the new map, but also showed a new POI coming with it. Considering that we are less than two weeks away from the new Fortnite season, we will likely get even more leaks soon, and we can’t wait for them!
Fortnite will get a new map with the Simpsons season
The next season is scheduled to begin on November 1 and will last for only a month. This will be the second mini-season in 2025, and also the last season before Epic Games releases Chapter 7. As a result, the next few weeks will be very exciting for Fortnite players.
According to Hypex, the most popular leaker, the season will bring Springfield, the home of the Simpsons. This fictional city is the main setting of the cartoon, and the entire island in Fortnite will be replaced by it.
The leaker also claims that the nuclear plant will be a new POI, which makes a lot of sense. At the moment, other landmarks haven’t been revealed, but we expect several other iconic places to be featured in Fortnite, including Moe’s Tavern and Kwik-E-Mart. The Jebediah Springfield statue may also appear on the map, but we’ll have to wait to see whether it will be beheaded!
Considering that Chapter 7 will begin right after the mini-season, it won’t be surprising if the nuclear plant blows up for the final event of the current chapter. However, let’s just hope that Homer’s “eeny, meeny, miny, moe” rhyme will be enough to save the Fortnite universe!
