Fortnite fans think that a totally new map is coming to the battle royale, as claimed by datamined files and a leaked loading screen (via Eurogamer).

Over ten Seasons, Fortnite’s map has morphed and metamorphosed, adding new points of interest and themed events to the game for players to grapple with. Most recently, these have been the Rift Zones that have brought back previously destroyed locations like Greasy Grove and the Motel, and included crossovers with the Wild West, Borderlands, and Gotham City. But, the lie of the land has always stayed the same, and these changes have either been temporary or affected just one part of the island.

Fortnite Seasons last approximately 10 weeks, so the current season would come to an end in the first week of October. If the new map is legit, it could arrive with Season 11, which would start a few days after Season 10 concludes. We’ll sit tight and wait for a news update, but until then, there’s plenty to do in Gotham City

Fortnite is out now iOS, Android, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
