The next Fortnite live event is less than two weeks away. Epic Games has prepared something big, and according to the latest leak, it will be one of the biggest events in terms of size. It will conclude Chapter 6 and introduce us to a mini-season, which is set to begin on November 1.
The leaked info shows that Kang and Kodos, aliens from The Simpsons, will appear in the event. They will make their appearance in their spaceship, both before and after the event. The season-ending event will also be the last time that we see the Chapter 6 map, as the mini-season will have a completely new island.
When Will the Next Fortnite Live Event Begin?
The exact start date and time of the next event haven’t been confirmed yet by Epic Games. However, it will most likely be released on Friday, October 31, around 2 PM Eastern Time. The current season ends on November 1 at 10:30 AM ET, and this is likely when the downtime for the next one will begin.
According to several reputable Fortnite leakers, the upcoming live event has a size of one gigabyte, which is quite massive. The pre-event and playlist weigh 150 MB, while the main part of the event is approximately 800 MB.
Kang and Kodos will appear at the end of the event, introducing us to The Simpsons season. At this point, the Chapter 6 map will be gone from Fortnite, and there is a good chance that it will be destroyed during the event.
Epic Games will release a smaller update this week, which will likely add more event files. Most of the data will be decrypted shortly before the event begins, and we can’t wait to see what Epic has prepared for us this time.
