Fortnite is a game that is constantly evolving by adding new features and changing existing ones. Considering that this approach has worked perfectly, it likely won’t change anything soon. Epic Games is already working on numerous features that will be released over the next few months. With Chapter 6 coming later this year, we expect most of them to come out in December.
The newest Fortnite leak shows that Epic is working on a new feature that will make the game much more interesting. The feature is reportedly still in development and its release date is unknown. Despite this, many members of the community are already excited and can’t wait for it to come out.
The newest Fortnite leak shows another feature that will drastically improve the game
Back in Chapter 1 Season 7, Epic Games released Fortnite’s Creative mode. This mode allowed players to create their own maps and minigames, which positively impacted engagement. In 2023, the game developer released UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), further expanding creating capabilities and giving creators many more options.
Creative mode is certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. However, Fortnite players spend approximately 50% of playtime in it, and this number could further increase because of the latest leaked addition. According to Hypex, the most reputable Fortnite leaker, Epic is working on a feature that will allow creators to use collaboration items in their Creative maps.
Considering how many fantastic collab items Fortnite has had, many players are hoping that the leak is true. After all, using Thanos’ Gauntlet once again would be incredible. Add Star Wars’ Lightsabers to the mix, as well as Attack on Titan’s movement abilities, and it’s nearly a recipe for a fantastic Fortnite Creative map.
It’s important to note that map creators would share their revenue with the IP owners. Due to this, releasing this game-changing Fortnite addition might take a bit more time. Figuring out revenue share percentages can be quite tricky, especially when map creators use collaboration items from multiple IP owners.
