Will Juice WRLD skin be free in Fortnite? Epic Games reveals details

Jarad Anthony Higgins, better known as Juice WRLD, is coming to Fortnite. The rapper tragically died at the age of 21, but his legacy will continue in the popular battle royale game. The artist was shown at the end of The Prelude event on Friday night, and Epic Games confirmed that his skin will be added to the game.

There are some leaks that the Juice WRLD Fortnite skin will be free, and luckily, Epic CEO revealed more details about it. Here’s what we know about it.

Is Juice WRLD coming to Fortnite?

Higgins’ rap career lasted for only approximately four years. During this period, however, the artist amassed millions of fans all around the world. Many of them requested his skin to come to Fortnite, and Epic Games will finally do it. In the last few seconds of The Prelude event, the artist was shown on the screen at Restored Reels, hinting at his release.

Shortly after the event ended, the Fortnite creator confirmed this to be the case. Furthermore, the Juice WRLD skin in Fortnite will be free for everyone who logs into the game on specific dates. Essentially, this will be the reward for players who attend the season-ending event at the end of the Remix season.

To honor Juice’s legacy and love for Fortnite, all players who log in between 1 AM ET on November 30 and 1 AM ET on December 1 will receive the cel-shaded Slayer Juice WRLD Outfit.

It’s important to note that the skin will be available for purchase in the shop at a later date. However, its release date and price haven’t been revealed yet. The skin will likely have the Icon Series rarity, which is why we expect it to cost at least 1,500 V-Bucks.
