Fortnite developer Epic Games has confirmed that Shopping Carts are now a thing in Battle Royale, presumably so you can now relive those early 2000s 'Hi, I'm Johnny Knoxville and welcome to Jackass' moments.

That's pretty much all you need to know, really. Shopping Carts are in, you and a friend can ride in them, and you can shoot from them too. Go crazy.

Elsewhere, Fortnite update 4.3 includes updates to challenge progressions, allowing you to now track your accomplishments thanks to new UI elements.

Save the World players aren't being left out in the cold, though. Part Two of the Blockbuster Event is now live and kicking, which sees you teaming up with Ray in an effort to save Spitfire. VOIP is also now available on the PC version of the game.

Epic's also added a new item for the popular shooter, with Battle Royale players now able to gobble up mushrooms to regenerate their shield by five points. They're found near swamp and wooded areas.

As always, there's a heap of bug-squashing doing the rounds, so be sure to have a butcher's at the full patch notes to find out what's changed.

Yesterday it emerged that Epic had been sued by PUBG Corp., the developer behind the massively popular PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, for alleged copyright infringement.
