This year’s Halloween event in Fortnite is off to an amazing start! Epic Games has released numerous fantastic skins, including Ghostface and Scooby-Doo, and many others will come very soon. On top of this, the event has brought several iconic items, making the gameplay much more exciting.

At the moment, Fortnite players can turn into Ghostface and use his Mythic item to hunt others down. Other Halloween items that are available are the Chainsaw and the Witch Broom, while the iconic Pumpkin Launcher is also back for explosive fun! Interestingly, Epic buffed Ghostface’s Mythic and the Chainsaw, making them last much longer.

The Halloween items in Fortnite received a massive buff

The latest Fortnite hotfix brought a significant change to Last Call and Chainsaw items. Both of these have a limited duration, but the latest update made them last much longer. In fact, thanks to this recent change, players can now use items 50% longer than before.

These are the changes that were released with the latest update:

  • Chainsaw’s duration has been increased from 100 to 150
  • Last Call duration has been increased from 200 to 300

Thanks to these changes, there is no longer any need to use the items conservatively. While they can still expire, the new duration makes them usable for much longer. Furthermore, both of these Fortnite items are great for mobility, which makes the recent buff incredible.

The Halloween event is still in the first week and will bring lots of new things by the end of the month. Release dates of new Fortnitemares skins have been leaked, while the free Halloween skin will be available until November 1.

Fortnite players have even more exciting content to look forward to, as Epic will release a new season right after the Halloween event!
