One of the free Fortnite skins will expire in less than 24 hours. The skin has been available over the past few months, giving everyone a chance to grab it. However, if you haven’t done it yet, the clock is ticking, and you now only have a limited time to add it to your locker.
As you may have already guessed, the skin is First Order Stormtrooper. It was released shortly before the Star Wars season launched in May. Now, almost four months later, Epic Games will remove it as a free skin, giving you a limited time to grab it.
How to get the free Stormtrooper skin in Fortnite?
This is a perfect opportunity to get a free Star Wars cosmetic, and you don’t even have to log into the game to get it. The free Fortnite skin expires on Sunday, August 31, at 12 AM Eastern Time, so the good news is that you still have time to claim it. However, you’ll have to act fast if you don’t want to miss it.
To unlock the new free skin in Fortnite, all you need to do is connect your MyDisney and Epic Games accounts. This process is simple and requires you to log into both of these accounts, and then link them. The entire process takes only a minute and can be done from your Epic Games account dashboard.
As soon as you finish the last step, you will receive the free First Order Stormtrooper skin in your Fortnite account. Epic Games also clarified that the cosmetic item may be sold in the shop at a later date, but it won’t be free.
It’s important to note that the linking process is not available everywhere. If you can’t link your accounts, you won’t be able to get the skin, which is unfortunate. In this case, you can check our list of free Fortnite skins and pick another one, as the others are available worldwide.
