The wait is over! Fortnite is now granting the free Bug Punk Sunny skin to all eligible players. After a short delay, the developers have started adding the awesome cosmetic to the lockers of everyone who completed a simple challenge. You don’t have to do anything else, the skin will appear in your locker automatically.
The free Fortnite skin was added to the game with the v37.20 update, and it was available for a limited time over the weekend. Because the skin has unlimited quantities, anyone who met the requirements will now receive it.
How to claim the free Bug Punk Sunny skin in Fortnite
To get the new Bug Punk Sunny skin in your locker, all you have to do is wait. The developers are in the process of granting the cosmetic to everyone who earned it, and it should be added to your account by Tuesday, September 16, regardless of your region.
However, keep in mind that the skin will only be given to those eligible for it. In other words, to unlock the Bug Punk Sunny skin for free, you needed to win a match in the Six Stack (Pure Chaos) playlist over the last weekend.
If you played the game mode and earned a victory, you should now get the new skin. While it may take a little while to show up in your locker, you don’t have to do anything else. The cosmetic will be granted to your account automatically, which is awesome news.
In case you missed the opportunity to get the skin, you will likely be able to get it from the Item Shop at a later date. In the meantime, make sure to unlock all the other free skins in Fortnite.
