The Fortnite x The Simpsons season is quickly approaching its conclusion. Epic Games just sent out another free cosmetic item to players, which is the final free reward of the season. The reward is a Giant Homer loading screen, which will also be released as a skin with the next reset of the Item Shop.
While The Simpsons collaboration will end on Saturday, Epic has prepared lots of new content for players to enjoy. Right after this season ends, the Fortnite developer will release Chapter 7, which will be another game-changing update.
How to get the free Giant Homer cosmetic in Fortnite?
To get the Giant Homer cosmetic item in Fortnite, all you need to do is log in before the end of the season. You can simply launch Fortnite on any device, and the moment you log in, you will receive a pop-up that shows your new cosmetic.
If you’re not a fan of loading screens, you can simply claim the item to add it to your Fortnite locker, then archive it. Doing this, you will not see the item in your account unless you unarchive it later on.
The Giant Homer loading screen is not the only free item currently in Fortnite. By earning XP with your friends, you can unlock the Cuddle Team Rider skin for a limited time. Furthermore, seasonal quests allow you to quickly level up and unlock exclusive items, including those from the Battle Pass. The pass expires on Saturday, but before it does, you can unlock free V-Bucks from it by simply leveling up.
Fortnite Chapter 7 is scheduled to begin on Saturday afternoon, as Epic Games will receive an update right after the conclusion of the massive live event around 2:30 PM Eastern Time.
