The next Fortnite live event will take place at the end of the Galactic Battle season. As the season comes to its conclusion, Epic Games will release a once-in-a-lifetime event. It will occur on Saturday, June 7, the last day of the season, and will feature an epic battle! If you are a Fortnite or Star Wars fan, you certainly don’t want to miss it.
On Wednesday, Epic revealed several important details regarding the upcoming event, including its start date and time. Furthermore, the game developer revealed a couple of free cosmetic items that you will be able to claim in the last week of the season.
The upcoming Fortnite live event will be massive
“Death Star Sabotage” is a season-ending live event, Epic Games confirmed. It begins on June 7 at 2 PM Eastern Time, which means that the season will end right after. This also means that we will most likely have an extended downtime that will last at least 12 hours.
The “Death Star Sabotage” playlist will appear two hours before the event begins, at 12 PM ET. The playlist supports up to four players per lobby, so you’ll be able to watch the event with your favorite squad.
Considering how popular live events are, Epic suggests everyone to log on at least two hours early in order to avoid queues and server overload issues. Once you get into the event, you will pilot an X-Wing or Imperial TIE fighter while waiting for the countdown to reach zero.
The last week of the Star Wars season brings several free Fortnite cosmetics:
Item | Method |
---|---|
Event Loading Screen | Login (June 3–10) |
Quicksilver Baton Spear | Login (June 3–10) |
5x Star Wars Sprays | Twitch Drops |
Darth Jar Jar Emoticon | Connect Twitch & Epic Games |
Galactic War Screen | Twitch Community Goal |
The last week of the season also brings Star Destroyer Bombardment, which begins on May 29. In each match, one player (and their teammates) will be able to enter the rift gate to teleport to the Star Destroyer and use its Turbolaser en route to a Victory Royale.
The last week will be packed with action, and the live event will be a perfect conclusion to the Fortnite x Star Wars season. Due to this, make sure to log in around noon on June 7 and witness an epic event!
