Epic Games has polished off the latest Fortnite update, and for a limited time only you'll be able to get your paws on a fancy Driftboard in battle royale. This not only lets you fire at enemies, but look good while doing so. Neat.

The item forms part of the new Driftin' limited time mode, where two teams of 32 players slug it out to be the last group standing. Red Supply Drops should be your first point of call, as they contain Driftboards, ammo, and weapons.

There's also an Infantry Rifle up for grabs, which is a semi-automatic weapon with decent stopping power and accuracy.

Save the World players will also gain access to the Driftboard, while the Frostnite Challenge 8 – Final Frost is ready for action. Have a butcher's at the full patch notes for Fortnite content update 7.40 here.

Epic Games appears to be gearing up for the launch of Fortnite Season Eight, so keep an eye on the map to see if any changes rear their head.
