A huge new Fortnite feature that has been in the works for a while now could be coming to the game very soon! It looks like Companions are very close to their release, as the latest update added a lot of new content for them.
The new September 18 update added a lot of new things, and it looks like the developers are getting ready to release Companions soon. The release date is still unknown, but there is a chance that they are only a couple of weeks away.
When will Fortnite release Companion Pets?
According to Shiina, a reputable Fortnite leaker, the latest update added a lot of new things for Companions, including their shop asset backgrounds and more. This is a huge step toward the release, as it shows that the developers are actively working on them and that they are almost ready to be released to the public.
Epic Games has also added challenges to unlock the CompanionPets. These challenges are not yet available, but they will likely be similar to other quests in the game. Judging by this, players will be able to unlock at least one Companion for free. Furthermore, some of the pets will be automatically converted.
While the release date is currently unknown, there is a chance that we’re only weeks away from it. However, a realistic timeline is late 2025, as Epic will release Fortnite Chapter 7 in December. Companions might be the next big thing in Fortnite, and we can’t wait to finally get them.
The next chapter of the video game will bring big things, including a new island and mechanics. We’re still a few months away from it, but as we get closer, we’ll likely get more details and leaks. For now, let’s hope for an early release of Companions!
