With Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 3 coming out on Friday, Epic Games just revealed its map. Unsurprisingly, the map will have a couple of new named locations. These locations will replace old ones that have been on the island since the beginning of the chapter. Interestingly, the first version of the Season 3 map will bring big changes to every corner of the island.
It’s important to note that the map will be constantly changing throughout the season. While Season 3 will only last for a month, it will receive weekly changes, adding new locations, items, and more.
What will the next Fortnite map look like?
On Thursday night, Epic unveiled the next Fortnite map. The initial version will introduce four new Star Wars-themed locations, each positioned in a corner of the island. Here are the new locations:
- Resistance Base
- Vader Samurai’s Solitude
- Outpost Enclave
- First Order Base
These named locations will replace Demon’s Dojo, Hopeful Heights, Shogun’s Solitude & Whiffy Warf, four locations that were on the island since the release of Chapter 6. The locations added with the Lawless season, such as Crime City and Outlaw Oasis, will remain on the map.
As you can see in the image above, new places will be located in the corners. After the first week on the season, we will get more changes, as The Pull of the Force phase will begin on May 8, followed by Mandalorian Rising on May 22. The upcoming Fortnite season will have five phases in total, culminating with a live event on June 7.
With the release date of Fortnite Chapter 6 – Season 3 less than a week away, we expect even more details to come out soon. With the Battle Pass featuring several iconic Star Wars characters, we’re excited to see its full reveal.
