Fortnite just received another major update in Chapter 6 – Season 2. This is the second major update of the season and arguably the biggest. Not only did it bring new cosmetics and items, but the update also added a new OG Season. We now have a chance to go back to Chapter 1 – Season 3, while also leveling up the new OG Pass.

In this article, we will take a look at the patch notes for the v34.20 Fortnite update.

What did today’s Fortnite update bring?

Today’s Fortnite update brought OG Season 3, allowing newer players to relive the early period of the game. This also brought a new OG Pass, which has three new skins and many other cosmetics, as well as several classic items. In addition to this, anyone who wins a game in this mode will get a free victory umbrella.

In addition to the new OG season, here is everything else that today’s Fortnite patch notes include:

  • Added new skins and cosmetics that will be released to the shop periodically
  • Updated Venom’s pickaxes to be usable with all skins
  • Updated Simple Edit introduction screen
  • Added back the 50v50 limited-time game mode, coming on April 1
  • Added Walking Dead items to Creative: Shiva Exotic Shotgun & Lucille Bat
  • Released Lawless Slap Jug, a new Mythic item
  • New quests

The update also brought several encrypted files that will be revealed later on. These files bring collaborations, and one of them most likely includes a Scorpion skin.

It’s important to note that these patch notes are not complete yet. Unfortunately, Epic Games doesn’t release official patch notes anymore. Due to this, we will have to wait longer to find out about all the changes that arrived with the update. Rest assured, we will update this article with fresh patch notes once Fortnite servers go back up.
