Ubisoft has announced that For Honor Season 6, known as Hero's March, is now live for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

The latest season of content for the multiplayer-focused hack-'n-slash title introduces a new map, Beachhead, which features a fort built into a mountain. Since it's only accessible via boat, the fortress is a tough nut to crack and is in a strong position from a defensive viewpoint, making it an ideal stronghold.

Elsewhere, Hero's March tinkers with a pair of key characters, namely Orochi and Peacekeeper. For example, the former's Storm Rush has been tweaked allowing you to decide which side your attack will come from, as well as cancelling the move at any point before the attack starts.

The Peacekeeper meanwhile has seen the Heavy Finisher given an overhaul so that you can now cancel it into a Guard Break or Dodge.

Players can also take part in the Rite of Champions limited-time event, which runs until May 31. Here, you'll be able to hoover up special loot including effects, outfits, ornaments, and weapon sets by taking part the 4×4 game mode, Carousel of Death. What a lovely name.

For Honor was released in February 2017 and continues to pull in the punters, regularly attracting one million players per month.
