Ubisoft’s medieval slaughter simulator For Honor has surpassed a player base of 7.5 million, Ubisoft confirmed during a recent earnings call.

In addition, the multiplayer-focused action game now boasts an impressive one million unique players per month. The milestone is pretty timely, as For Honor celebrates its first anniversary today, having launched for PS4, PC, and Xbox One on February 14, 2017.

Much of the game’s success can be attributed to its frequent updates, with the next major slew of content due to roll out as part of Season Five’s Age of Wolves tomorrow. Dedicated servers will then be made available on February 19.

For Honor got off to a bit of a dodgy start, primarily due to some wonky matchmaking and lacklustre single-player campaign. Still, Ubisoft has at least made an effort to continue polishing the experience over time, and it’s evident by the figures described above that players are sticking around.Â
