This year, Sports Interactive is once again hoping to raise the bar for handheld management games, with Football Manager Handheld 2008 to include a host of new features designed to offer the gamer a more complete experience.

The first thing players will notice is the new graphical skin and menu layout making it easier to navigate through menus. This year managers will also have a reserve squad which doubles the amount of squad members the manager can utilise.

Managers will also be able to customise tactics and then share them with friends wirelessly, although why you’d want to share your winning play style with a mate is beyond us.

We’re also promised an optimised match engine, which should eliminate much of the waiting around players were subjected to in the previous version.

Football Manager Handheld 2008 is scheduled for release on PSP before Christmas 2007.
