SEGA and Sports Interactive have announced that a demo for Football Manager 2012 is now available to download from Steam. The download lets you play through the first half of the 2011/2012 season ahead of the full game hitting digital and retail stores on October 21.

The good news is that all progress made in the demo can be picked up if you choose to buy the full game – unless you manage to take Spurs to the bottom of the league and would rather just start again.

Sports Interactive has also revealed the Football Manager 2012 system requirements.

Look out for our review ahead of the game’s October 21 release.
