At a press event in London this evening SEGA has confirmed that the PC, MAC and PSP versions of Football Manager 2009 will be released on November 14. Sports Interactive has promised new features, many of which you can check out in a videos released by the developer on YouTube. More videos showcasing the new game will be released soon.

Speaking at the event Sports Interactive MD Miles Jacobson confirmed that there will be no home console versions of FM 2009, saying that the user interface developed for previous Xbox 360 versions isn’t good enough. The developer is looking at 2K’s Civilization Revolution as an example of how to take a PC-centric series and make it work on consoles.
