Footage of a cancelled Justice League fighting game has appeared on YouTube.

The 90-second clip features Batman facing off against Superman in a 3D fighter with a dynamic camera. The game was being developed by Double Helix, but was canned possibly due to its ties with the troubled production of the Justice League movie.

Based on the combat seen in the video, we’re not overly disappointed this game never saw the light of day.

Double Helix later went on to produce Xbox One launch title Killer Instinct, while NetherRealm Studios produced Injustice: Gods Among Us, a solid DC Universe brawler.
