Sports Interactive’s Football Manager 2011 has entered the All Formats UK chart at No.1, the studio’s first multi-format chart-topper since FM 2008.
“Thanks to everyone who bought #FM2011 last week & to GT5 for moving their release date,” studio director Miles Jacobson tweeted this morning.
He followed up with news that the game’s first weekend sales figures bettered those of Konami’s PES 2011 on multiple formats.
At a time when the console is dominant, it’s great to see a PC exclusive doing so well. Furthermore, the sales reported by Chart Track don’t include the purchases made digitally at online stores such as Steam.
