Flipnote Studio 3D, originally set for release on the European eShop for 3DS on August 1, has been delayed, Nintendo has announced.
“Due to unexpectedly high levels of user activity since the launch of the application in Japan on 24th July, we decided to postpone our European launch until we can deliver the best possible service to users,” Nintendo said in a statement today.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this delay may cause, and will announce a new launch date as soon as possible.”
Let’s hope the delay isn’t too lengthy, and 3DS users can get to work on flipbook animations in the near future.
