The first of two planned PES 2012 demos will no longer be released on Xbox 360, Konami has confirmed.
The demo was intended to be released August 24 but “unforeseen issues” meant Konami had to delay its Xbox LIVE Marketplace release until September. However, these issues have been unconquerable and the first demo will no longer be coming to Xbox 360.
“Sorry to confirm that due to issues on both sides we can’t release the 1st PES2012 demo for 360,” Tweeted PES team leader Jon Murphy. “We’ve tried hard but have to give up.
“We – Konami, the PES team and myself – are all really, really sorry.”
It won’t be long, however, until the more complete second demo is released.
“On a brighter note we’ll announce the next demo shortly and release is just around the corner. Hope you still give it a try,” Murphy concluded.
The second PES 2012 demo will offer 10 minute matches, and players will be able to choose from Tottenham Hotspur, FC Bayern Munich, FC Internazionale Milano, Rangers FC, Club America and Sport Club Internacional.
