Another round of Fire Emblem Engage patch notes has now been released by Nintendo. Although the updates listed don’t exactly present anything too drastic, some of the improvements made should still be a welcome addition to the game.

Now that we’ve piqued your curiosity on the latest changes, we’ll be taking a look at the entire list below so you’ll know what to expect once you start the game up. So without further ado, here are the latest set of Fire Emblem Engage patch notes.

Fire Emblem Engage v2.0 patch notes

The most significant feature addition with this latest patch is the collaborative content with Fire Emblem Heroes now being made downloadable for free from the Nintendo eShop. Once you’ve downloaded it, you’ll be able to receive the items as soon as you enter the Somniel.

Check out the rest of the improvements that the developers have made below:

General Updates

  • Compatible with Wave 4 of the Expansion Pass.
  • Update Bonus has been added. You can receive items when entering the Somniel from Chapter 5 or later.
  • Collaboration content with the smartphone app “Fire Emblem Heroes” can now be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop.
    • You can receive items when entering the Somniel after downloading the data from the eShop.
    • Note that players who have already downloaded the bonuses from linking with “Fire Emblem Heroes” cannot download the content again.
  • Issues have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.

As evidenced by the notes listed above, patch v2.0 mostly focuses on making the game compatible with Wave 4 of the Expansion Pass. The latest DLC in question contains several exciting new features, including a new story scenario called the Fell Xenologue, new characters, and added class types among others. The previously mentioned free downloadable content is also a big incentive that should entice players to pick up the game again.

As always, you can also check out the game’s patch notes history on Nintendo’s website if you want a more official look at the changes.
