Square Enix has revealed the first details for Final Fantasy XV – Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades, announcing that all Final Fantasy XV season pass owners will be able to exclusively play the closed beta from August 3-8, 2017. Players will be able to buddy up with three others, working together to restore the light back to Lucis.

Comrades allows players to create their own customised character, before joining with up to three other players to complete multiplayer quests. Multiple customisable characters can be created when the player completes more quests, and accessorised with new clothes and various items at the game’s Outposts. These Outposts allow for your character(s) to rest up and obtain meal buffs.

Characters will be able to use all new moves, and also collect a wide variety of weapons such as katanas, crossbows and more. It’s all kicking off in Lucis. More information about the Final Fantasy XV: Comrades closed online test eligibility can be found at the Comrades site.

Final Fantasy XV is available now worldwide for the PS4 and Xbox One, the closed beta will be made available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store on August 2.
