The upcoming patch for MMO Final Fantasy XIV is scheduled for October 4, according to the most recent “Letter from the Producer” written by Naoki Yoshida.
This is a five-day delay from the originally intended release date of the patch. Yoshida explains the delay will ensure further balancing and debugging to stabilise the new content and overhauls to the battle algorithms.
Furthermore, the Ixal stronghold and Guildleve history evaluations have been pushed back to patch 1.19a.
Full patch notes for 1.19 will be released September 30, however a teaser trailer for the upcoming Bowl of Embers has been made available in the meantime.
