Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will release on September 3 for consoles and PC, as announced by the official Final Fantasy Twitter account today.

The remaster was revealed at E3 2019, and will include a few gameplay improvements such as the battle assist, 3x Speed Boost and no encounter modes. The visuals have been tweaked too, but a lot has stayed true to the original, which is good news for die-hard fans of the underdog entry.
